The Log Cabin Republicans of San Francisco (LCRSF) elect a volunteer Board of Directors to run the club on a day-to-day basis. Directors are elected each odd-year January, and have terms of two years. A copy of our bylaws can be found here. To contact the board, please email us: [email protected].

Edward Bate | President
[email protected] Edward is from San Francisco and has been active in the chapter for over 10 years. He has enjoyed the many discussions at the monthly meetings that affect the local area and elections. He looks forward to sharing his enthusiasm and welcomes new members. Edward also serves as a member of the San Francisco Republican Party Central Committee, and is active in the Republican Club of San Francisco.

Gene Epshteyn is a San Francisco resident and has been active with the Log Cabin Republicans of San Francisco for many years. From 2020-2021, Mr. Epshteyn served as the club's President.

Larry Lacko | Treasurer
Larry serves as Treasurer of LCRSF and has been active as a Director of the club for many years.

Marianne Haas | Secretary
Marianne serves as Secretary of LCRSF and has been active as a top Republican volunteer in the Bay Area for many years. Marianna also serves on the Alameda County Republican Central Committee.

James Servantes | Member at Large
[email protected] James lives and works in San Francisco and has been a life-long Republican. He is admin for our Website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Kernan Jang | Member at Large
Kernan Jang is a lifelong Republican, and active with the club since the early 2000s. A native San Franciscan and longtime Marinite, Mr. Jang joined the Marin County Republican Central Committee in 2009, and served as Chairman of the Marin County Republican Party from 2017-2018.

Scott Bowen | Member at Large
Scott is a San Francisco resident and joined the chapter in 2024. Scott was born and raised in southern Illinois. After spending a decade in NYC establishing his financial regulatory career, he moved to San Francisco. He has often volunteered for Republican causes and is enthusiastic to become more engaged and help promote the club.

Michael Gallardo | Social Director
Michael Gallardo is a lifelong Republican, having registered at the age of 18 in time to vote for President Richard M. Nixon. Originally hailing from Yreka, California, Mr. Gallardo has resided in San Francisco for over three decades. Mr. Gallardo has been active with the Log Cabin Republicans for decades, and served as the President of the Club from 2019-2020. Mr. Gallardo oversees many of LCRSF's social events.

Jason Clark is serving his third term as President of LCRSF. Mr. Clark is a lifelong Republican, and has spent over a dozen years volunteering for Republican candidates, Initiatives, and causes. Previously, Mr. Clark served as Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party from 2016-2019. He has made over 100 media appearances, including on Lou Dobbs and Mornings with Maria Bartiromo. Mr. Clark is currently the Bay Area Regional Vice Chairman for the California Republican Party, representing the Bay Area's 550,000 Republicans and 50+ candidates.
